Who doesn’t love to hear the phrase “brand new cosmetics coming soon”.
So as you can imagine I was so excited to be fortunate enough to grab a sneaky peak to the “Beautiful Bronze” cosmetics range by Sunkissed that will be launching this summer season.
“Beautiful Bronze” is a new cosmetics range especially developed to contour and complement your skin. They have wide range of products for all our make-up needs; here are my thoughts on a few of them!
|| Beautiful Bronze – Perfect Primer- £3.00 ||
Like any artist you need a smooth base to start your best work; this is the same for commencing your make-up routine. The Beautiful Bronze ‘Perfect Primer’ not only flatters your skin but also creates a silky base for make- up. I find it quite similar to POREfessional face primer by Benefit, but at a massive fraction of the cost; ideal for anyone on a budget!
The ‘Flawless Finish’ foundation is relatively opaque with a silky matte finish. Matte foundations have never been too flattering for my skin, however with ‘Flawless Finish; there is no powdery grey finish that is associated with some matte foundations. At the moment the foundation comes in three shades; light glow, honey beige and bronze tint. However, given my olive skin tone I think I would need to mix and match with the different shades to find my perfect colour until they create a wider variety.
Personally I have never really used matte powders, I honestly thought they would leave my skin feeling flakily and dry; not ideal. However, after using this powder by Beautiful Bronze I don’t know how I survived without it before! Just lightly sweep this oil-absorbing powder after you have finished your make-up et voila it leaves you with a flawless shine free complexion.
|| Beautiful Bronze – Glow Stick Highlighter – £3.50 ||
The ‘Glow Stick Highlighter’ comes in two different shades; either a nude or bronze (the one above is the bronze).I found that the bronze shade highlighter provides good pigment on the skin, which is essential when finding a perfect highlighter. The creamy texture and it’s packaging makes them easy to use, you simply dab it on your cheek bones and blend it gently in with your fingers.
The ‘Glimmer Compact’ is five shimmering shades that blend together to give your skin a healthy radiant glow. This product is actually quite similar to the Bobbi Brown shimmer brick, which I have a huge crush on at the moment. It perfectly creates a natural looking bronzed glimmer that is suitable for all skin tones. What I love about the ‘Glimmer Compact’ is that it has multiple of uses; you can use a solo shade to highlight or as an eyeshadow hue.
What are your thoughts on these bronzed cosmetics?
