As promised here are the outfit of the day photos of myself taken by the extremely talented photographer and blogger Em from My Pale Skin before the Olympia Beauty show a few weeks ago.

 ||ASOSFull Midi Skirt in Scuba – £35.00// Topshop – White Bralet – £18.00 // River Island – White Barely There Heels – £45.00 // Zara – White ‘Stressed But Well Dressed’ Clutch Bag – £20.00 (sold out in store, however available on eBay) // New LookSilver and Mint Green Necklace – £12.99 // Primark – Mint Diamante Ring – £2.00 // Ray-Ban – Original Wayfarer – £120.00 ||

I could not stop gushing over this gorgeous mint coloured midi skirt when first laid eyes on it on the lovely Em at Bloggers Love Fashion Week. After seeing how excitable I was about the skirt  Em adorably went out of her way to buy me one of my own, it was an incredibly sweet gesture! This skirt reminds me of watching the stylishly chic Carrie Bradshaw walk through Central Park in an early years episode of Sex in the City.  What is there not to love about this skirt? Not only is it in flattering a-line style, but being made from a scuba fabric enables the skirt to glide elegantly over your figure. One practical element that the skirt features is the hidden side pockets, what more can a girl ask for?

For this look I wanted it to have an essence of feminine chic, so I decided to pair it with a dainty white bralet from Topshop. Accessories wise, I decided to wear a silver and mint green necklace from New Look and a mint diamante ring from Primark, the mint colouring of the two pieces matched perfectly to the skirt. Additionally, I wore a pair of white River Island heels and the “stressed but well dressed” Zara clutch to keep with the soft nature of the rest of the outfit.

Thank you again to Ems for taking these great shots and definitely go and check out her amazing blog  🙂

What are your thoughts on my Carrie Bradshaw inspired outfit of the day?
