Spring is finally here, and that means in the fashion world getting in touch with your softer feminine side – enter pastel colours. However, this doesn’t just mean sticking to the basic pastel palette of powder pink, baby blue and mint green, why not take the look further by trying out the unexpected shades such as pale violet.
After casting my eyes on these pleat front turn up lilac trousers by ‘Closet Clothing’ at the S/S14 Brand Nation showcase a few weeks ago I knew that I had to have them in my life. I was fortunate enough to be asked to style these beauts by the lovelies at Closet Clothing. They are the perfect addition to your work wear wardrobe for the spring / summer season. For me, being comfortable is crucial in trousers especially if I have a long work day ahead, and these fit easily in all the right places.
In the pastel mind frame I decided to go all out by teaming it up with this gorgeous pink high neck cami from Topshop, which has an all over textured croc print. Although I would say that they also look great with a cute white blouse if you wanted a fresher feel to your outfit. Accessory wise I wore open toe pale pink courts from Carvela.
Will you be considering a deliciously pastel wardrobe this spring /summer season?
