In the past I have been extremely conscious of my body, never daring to wear crop tops or anything that had my midriff on show (unless I was at the beach). Although I love the crop top and high-waisted trousers trend, no item of clothing seemed to bestow the self-confidence to try it out.
But then these stunning high-waisted baby pink trousers from Primark came along and it all changed. They seem to just glide over my hips to the top of my waist, which gave me the confidence to team it up with this white Topshop crop top. I could not believe what a gem I had found at only £12.00! These trousers are extremely versatile, they can be worn on a girls night out teaming them up with a chic crop top; as my outfit shows above, or with a loose shirt or cami for every day wear.
Accessory wise I wore my favourite white “Stressed…But Well Dressed” clutch bag from Zara. You may be thinking that this lovely clutch bag looks extremely familiar; well you are not wrong, it’s been raved about by nearly every single fashion blogger. It’s not only stylishly unique but also unlike most clutches it is large enough to fit everything in!
Do you dare to bear the midriff?
