I have always tried to keep my lips in tip top condition, especially when it is coming into winter and Jack Frost never seems to only bite my nose but also crack and destroy my poor lips. I feel that using lip scrub always gives a great base for lip balm as it makes your lips feel silky smooth before applying any lipstick – Patchy and flaky lipstick isn’t exactly a great look!
I was given Bimble Cane Sugar Lip Scrub – Double chocolate (Raw Cane Sugar Scrub Ingredients: Fairtrade Organic Raw Cane Caster Sugar, Organic Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil , Olea Europaea (Olive) Oil, Essential oils and extracts: Orange, Peppermint, Lemon, Cocoa, Vanilla, Lime, Violet, Rose & Grapefruit as appropriate) by the lovely people at Bimble to try out and review, here are my thoughts.

This is by far the best lip scrub I’ve ever used, smells delicious and tastes even better! Bimble Cane Sugar Lip Scrub done a brilliant job of moisturising my lips, leaving them soft, non-greasy and flake free just after one application. It’s really simple to use, all you do is place a small amount on your finger and gently scrub away…or eat away as I have to admit I did!
An added bonus to this product is that it uses natural and environmentally-friendly materials, so it can be used by people of all ages. The lip scrub tub (25g) is a perfect size which I think will last a while (well if you don’t eat it all first!).
As for price, it is only £2.95 which is complete bargain for this great natural product. Other companies such as LUSH ask for £5.50 for exactly the same thing, which essentially is a pot of sugar, some oil, colouring and a touch of flavouring! Some people would say whats the worth in paying anything at all…as these are easily accessible materials why not just make it yourself? But to be honest, achieving this would take patience…which is not in my list of virtues, i would give up after 10 minutes and end up dunking some donuts into my pot of ‘epic fail’ lip scrub.
If double chocolate is not your thing then they do have a range of other additionally scrumptious flavours ; Orange Sherbet, Seaside Rock, Lemon Drop, Mint Chop Chip, Vanilla Fudge, Key Lime Pie, Parma Violet, Double Chocolate, Turkish Delight and Pink Grapefruit.
One recommendation I have to the lovely people at Bimble would be to maybe add a couple more flavours such as yummy bubble-gum flavour or fruits of the forest flavour, but that’s a personal preference!
Over all I think this product is perfect for anyone who wants to have lovely smooth kissable, poutable lips – it really is as it says “good enough to eat”.
Hope you all enjoyed my post and thanks again to the lovely people at Bimble 🙂
