Urban Tan – Glamour Gloss & Glamour Grit

 || Urban Tan – Glamour Grit Salt Scrub (£14.99) and Glamour Gloss (£17.99) ||

The summer, the season when a tan seems to be your prized accessory for all outfits. So when two weeks ago I was sent over the Glamour Grit salt scrub and Glamour Gloss by the lovelies at Urban Tan I couldn’t wait to try it out.  Below are my thoughts after two weeks of using both Urban Tan products.

 Glamour Grit Salt Scrub

I have to be honest here…exfoliation and I are not exactly the best of friends, I never have the time or the patience to do it. But after using Glamour Grit scrub  for a few weeks it has certainly made me reconsider my choice! The scrub not only smells of delicious grapefruit but it also leaves your skin feeling silky soft.

I have always been put off salt scrubs as the majority can be quite oily and make you feel  greasy and sticky, which is never pleasant, but Glamour Grit is an oil-free salt scrub that is enriched with anti- oxidant vitamin E ,Sea Kelp and Algae for skin conditioning. It is extremely easy to use and even comes with an adorable little wooden spoon for application. I found that using this salt scrub in conjunction with the Glamour Gloss tanning product aided me greatly in the tanning process, enabling me to achieve what every woman wants… a streak free tan!

Glamour Gloss

This is a daily gradual tanning moisturiser which contains softening silk proteins, Vitamin E to condition and even proprieties to combat skin ageing. A gradual tan moisturiser is great  to use if you are not keen on using over night fake tan or you simply want to complement and boost your natural tan. Glamour Gloss moisturiser definitely has my vote; it gives you a sunless tan while still keeping your skin silky soft and hydrated.

Although, I would advise noting that it does take a few applications of the product to achieve a good depth of colour. After using Glamour Glow for two weeks I felt that it left my skin moisturized, soft, with a subtle and most importantly streak-free sun kissed glow.

What are your thoughts on the Urban Tan range?

I’m obsessed with fake tan and always need to be tanned so naturally this post caught my eye! This sounds gorgeous but I have to admit I’m always a little scared of gradual tanners, so I usually stick to instant tan (sally hansen to be precise) xxxxxxxxxx

I know what you mean normally I do too. But when you have a natural tan they really do help you keep sun kissed for longer 🙂 xxx

I hopefully have some of this winging its way to me soon to try! Can’t wait. Love more ethical products!

I’d love to try this! I’m a big fan of gradual tanners because sometimes normal ones come out too orange on my pasty natural skin! I’m also a bit crap with exfoliating as often as I should! Xx

I know exfoliating seem like so much more effort than it is, but it is soooo worth it! xxxx

When I -do- exfoliate I love the results, but its just having the time!! I’m using Soap and Glory’s ‘Scrub of your Life’ at the moment which is a bit cheaper than ‘ Glamour Grit Salt Scrub’. Did you find the product was worth the price?

I know EXACTLY what you mean about the ‘greasy’ feel. I tried a more expensive brand once that promised to moisturise as well, but I was left with a horrible ‘film’ on my skin that was definately not moisturising!
